Default Battery issues

Hi there, I have a 2018 z06 with only 15,600 kms and battery seems to be dead.

I stored it every winter and use a trickle charger (provided by gm) but never seemed to quite charge it fully.

It did start 1x when took trickle off, but then I placed battery charger on it and it won't charge, tried a noco genius charger and that noeth will charge anything.

Does this me a Onky after 15,000kms i need a new battery.

Any help will do. Car won't turn over, well it does but it just Continues to tick tick tick

Yes, the battery appears to have failed. Time for a new one. (Assuming that I correctly interpreted your post.)

If the battery won't take a charge - time for a new one.

Already though. Researched and says battery shouid last 6yrs. I mean I only have 15kms on battery dead already, seems odd.

I've seen bad batteries on the store shelf. I had one last only a year in another car - free warranty replacement.

Have the parts store run a quick check on any new battery before you accept it.

Mileage doesn't matter. Age does. But - the "expected life" is no guarantee of actual performance.

Will do, ya the battery was made in 2017. I'll get them to run diagnostic on mine and new one before purchase. Thanks for the advice.

Check battery and alternator. I always check the other when I am changing one. Won't be the first time an alternator has taken out a battery or vice versa.

yeah pull the battery and try to get it charged with a regular charger and then tested at a store.
does sound like it went for some reason and i would just get a new one with a 48 month warranty so go from there.
but overall a battery can just go bad even if taken care of sometimes or regularly used every day.
