I have a 2017 GS .......im looking to replace the stock exhaust. Right now Im between the AWE touring and the Corsa Extreme. Anyone have thoughts on other brands? AFE? Flowmaster?
My car came with AWE touring and AWE X-Pipe (they don't make the X-pipe anymore) so I don't have anything else to compare it to. I LOVE the sound of it! Loud when you want it to be, quiet when you're just cruising. If you want really loud, AWE touring by itself is not going to do it for you. The 2 systems you specifically mentioned are quite different from what I understand. I would think the AWE track is more similar to the Corsa Extreme. Also, you lose the NPP function with AWE.
There are a ton of videos out there but it's hard to judge the true sound of exhaust through computer or phone speakers. I would go to some car shows and have a listen in person.
Good luck!

I have a '19 Stingray, M7 with Corsa headers, Corsa complete exhaust system including the Extreme mufflers and X Pipe.
After going to dozens of car shows with it and listening to others' cars, I wouldnt have anything else. Added bonus is the pop on deceleration. Downside is I have NPP exhaust and with the Corsa system you have one sound all the time. Others may not like that feature, but I happen to love it, so not a downside to me!!
"Best sounding"? You better listen to them yourself. I know more than one who went by others' recommendations and ended up swapping systems... again. All the best.
I agree with the suggestion that you listen to different systems live. Maybe attend a Corvette gathering and listen to different set ups. There's no way to tell what YOUR ears hear and like on the internet. YouTube has everything you "want" but the audio recordings and playback through your speakers won't be close to live.
Don't forget Akrapovic. They're definitely pricey but if you're willing, man, they sound good. It's like they're built to crackle and pop. I think they sound kind of like a combination of AWE's 1.Touring and 2.Track (1.idle and 2.throttle) but with more pronounced ("sharp", is that the word I'm looking for?) definition. At least, that's what it seems to me from comparing the AWE YouTube videos.

Good advice, Dork. To each his own and personal preference on what sounds good . I have to second your comments on Akrapovic: They are spendy but they sound great.

I agree that one really has to hear, in person, what each system sounds like. I had my Billy Boat axle backs installed and damn - I have to keep the garage door closed on initial start up so as not to jar the neighbors. I did not hear them before buying and I'm thinking now that they are pretty loud. I will say they have a lot pops and growls on gearing down. Leaving the traffic light i do ease up - no need to deafen the Civic fart can muffler nerd festers.
