Hey y'all, I just wanted to clear a few things up. I have a 2015 c7 stingray, with AWE x-pipe and exhaust, with the secondary cats gone from the x-pipe.
If I wanted to get headers, and keep the primary cats, I can still use the x-pipe I have correct? And does that apply for all header lengths?
Thanks for anyone who can clear that up.
I don't have an exact answer to your question. However, I can tell you that the AWE (and most other aftermarket brands) x-pipe is exactly the same length as the stock x-pipe with the cats. It also has exactly the same connections at the front & rear ends as stock.

If you're getting mid-length headers yes, since they use the factory cats from the header to the x-pipe.
If you're getting full length headers, no. You will need new bullet cats and a new x-pipe.
