If there is any difference it is in the mounting of the calipers. Otherwise, they use the same brake pads (other than the C6 pads have a shorter wiring harness for the wear sensor). The rotors are the same size and offset with the only difference being the C6 rotor hat doesn't have a bolt that holds the rotor to the hub. The C7 rotor has that bolt that doesn't really provide any useful function once the car has left the factory unless you consider freezing into place and requiring drilling of the rotor hat before removing the rotor useful. .
