Default Fender Liner Bolt Question

HI Forum Members - can anyone tell me whether the bolts that connect the front fender liners behind the wheel and underneath the doors, require a corresponding nut to bolt into or do they connect to the body directly? The specific bolt that I am referring to is item #13 in the picture below (the one highlighted by the red square) that I believe the part number is a M6x1x22 Multi-Purpose Bolt 11609982. There is no nut shown in the schematic from GM and unfortunately I'm away from the car and can't take a look at the other side before I order.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and insights.

I'm pretty sure those use a u-nut on the body side. Similar to this:

That is correct. It is the u net shown. I've replaced my fender liners due to tire rubbing on track days.

I replaced my fender liner, and now have an extra 10mm bolt. No idea where it came from....

as well as under the rear. As I recall...assuming you're talking about the front liner...there's one that's aft of the control arms about midway up on the liner that's easy to overlook.
