Default Engine looses power goes flat momentarily

Hi,
apologies up front for a new owner type question but I hope someone can shed some light so I can get some direction. I have put on about 1k miles on my new to me 17 GS m7.
Has 16k mikes and runs really well, however recently, and I dare say I can make it happen now, when starting from first, winding it up quick to about 4-5k rpm, she’s gets there fine but when shifting to second, she goes into a flat, no power, no pedal, like into a limp mode, for the lack of a better term, for a few seconds before power comes back to normal. She’s done this about 4-5 times now. No codes are thrown up, all indicators seem normal, mode is in tour. The only change I last made before this started was a Muzzy 1-4 skip eliminator, but I can’t imagine why that would be a cause and it’s not like it started directly after I made that change. Everything else is basically stock, would like to get ahead of this before it becomes a problem. It will act normal if I don’t take 1st to high rpm but if I try to charge out of 1st, and not talking redline, but aggressive the power goes flat once I am in second, I can floor the gas but no response, everything power wise is just flat(not producing) for a few moments and then she will come back as normal. No reduced power messages are displayed
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Thanks!

I can't help but if you do an advanced search there is many posts on this issue. Or Google "C7 Corvette Reduced Engine Power" and all the forum links pop up. Good luck resolving the issue.

Inadvertently titled this wrong, there are no indications or messages about ‘reduced power mode’ when this occurs, I didn’t realize that this was an actual thing when I titled the post. It’s not going into reduced power mode,
can’t seem to change or edit the title. Should of said.. what the heck is going on? Have done searches on reduced power but most seem to deal with the car actually going into ‘reduced power mode’

I wonder if torque control is taking over to keep you from spinning the rear wheels at such a high rpm and losing the back end. Or maybe traction control doing it. If you shut off the traction control be very careful. Don't do it unless there is absolutely nothing to hit.

In Tour Mode, you still have full traction control unless you turn it off. Pulling a high rpm shift with a lot of throttle opening will more than likely cause some tire slip and activate traction control which behaves just like you indicate. To turn off traction control push the center console button once, if done correctly you should see the TC symbol light up on the Instrument Panel. With traction control turned off try the high rpm high power shifting again. However, I caution you to do this somewhere that is wide open and has plenty of room to correct for a sudden sideways movement of the car.

I believe you guys are on it, I took her out today and tried to pay more attention to the dash indicators, a lot happenings in a short amount of time there but this time I did notice that the traction control indicator was flashing when power was flat( that indicator is on the left side, not the right side indicator that comes on when you turn it off), but I did turn traction cntl off and you guys are right, it doesn’t shut me down. So that said, it’s not like I changed anything and it never did that before, oh wait.. I did change tires, I tried continentals and now it’s starting to make sense, those tires do not grip like the Michelins that were on, so slippery tires are probably cause traction control to step in more.. does that sound right? And thanks for the responses!
