To set the seat you have to adjust the seat, press “set”, then hold whichever seat you want to program. It will beep at you when it’s programmed. If that doesn’t work then I’m unsure what you need to do.

There are some minor differences between model years.

Here's the Chevy doc:

Make sure you are setting the seat with the correct Key Fob. The FOBs aren't marked but they are numbered as 1 and 2 if the car is programmed correctly. The car will recognize up to EIGHT FOBs but the first two are the only ones that can activate all features. The problem you can get into is if you have FOB 2 and input settings for seat position one they won't take since FOB 2 doesn't control seat position 1. It controls seat position 2. Since you don't know whether or not the FOB you have is 1 or 2 set both seat positions at the same time with that FOB. If you do have another FOB then repeat the same settings while using the second FOB. That way no matter which FOB you pick up the seat settings will be the same UNLESS one of your FOBs is number 3 or higher, then that might not work.

Your OM has two methods to program FOBs the second method reprograms the car so it forgets all previous FOBs and then lets you reprogram all your FOBs in the correct sequence.
