I have a service appointment this week at the dealer. Easy or hard fix because it's out of Chevy warranty but I did buy an extended warranty from the dealer when I bought the car 4 months ago. Thanks for response.
By no means an expert , on this but I wouldn’t be surprised this appears to be common on these. From what I’ve read the couplers they use are junk .. and as time goes on the couplers come in contact with torque tube and just gets worse .. numerous comments on these torque VS drive shaft .
also very important that if they take torque tube out that it is installed per GM book to the tee otherwise 2-3000 miles later you’ll be replacing engine due to thrust bearing failure , because of improper torque tube install ( alignment )
My intermittent under body knock wound up being worn end-rod links on my rear sway bar. I replaced the stock ones with Moog brand with zerk fittings so I can grease them.
