Trunk charge port access
What is the easiest way to access the wires for the charge port in the trunk?
Thanks

The Charge Port on the right side is for your Battery Tender.

I assume you want 12 V power with the car off.
Look in the rear fuse box schedule printed in your owner's manual and on a label in the back for "Rear Accessory Power Outlet." This is fuse 22 for 2019, may be a different fuse # for other model years.
Replace the existing fuse with a fuse tap. Move the existing fuse to the tap. Add a new fuse to feed the pigtail.
Bussmann Fuse Tap shown. (Also called Add-a-Circuit)

That's the way to do it. That way the new device you're trying to power has its own circuit.

wow, 30A fuse? I've been looking around for magnetic coupler to put somewhere on outside. Maybe above license plate. Anybody already try that?

Somebody had a post about a magnetic connector 7-9 months ago. Was in his grille on the right side.
