PDR, card not seen

Not just FAT32, but also with a Master Boot Record partition map. I'm starting to notice more and more new SD cards formatted with the GUID partition map, which is technically better and more modern and designed to work with most of the newer PCs with modern, updated UEFI BIOS. So they're formatted with GUID partition map, but in FAT32 format, which would work in virtually any PC and electronic devices made in the last 5 years.
But won't work on the PDR because it requires the Master Boot Record (or MBR) partition map designed for legacy BIOS dating back to the early 2000s (UEFI was nearly universally implemented in 2004 If I recall).
So you can format and reformat all day long, and it will NEVER work in the PDR unless you can change the partition map.
NOTE, this information was the result of a search. I hope it helps you with your problem.

- You don't say what model year you have. Are you using the SD card slot at the left side of the glove box, not in the console? 2014 / 2015 had an SD slot in the console for media (FAT32 / NTFS) as well as USB in the console and behind the screen). The 2015 also had SD slot in the glove box (FAT32) if PDR equipped
- Does your SD card have the write protect slider on the left side? UNLOCK is toward the card end with electrical contacts
- I've never had a problem with 32 GB SD cards formatted as FAT32 (default) with Windows 10. Don't know about Win11. If in doubt UNCHECK the "quick format" box. I have also run larger SD cards formatted FAT32 with 3rd party software.
- 32 GB is good for over 11 hr of recordings
- FAT32 max file size is 4 GB or a bit over 90 minutes. Stop and Start recording every 90 minutes or less - the PDR will just stop recording when the max file size is reached.
- Have you tried multiple cards?

Sounds like I need to look in the glove box.
Thank you gentlemen.
The card reader slot you need is hard to see, especially with a dark interior:
- open the glove box
- look to the left of the hole, covered by the glove box door, down fairly low
- insert the SD card label up - it is on an upward angle
You can kind of see the card reader slot at 1:08 in the linked video:
Now try the PDR
