Default Pdr ???

I purchase a 2016 Stingray 2 months ago and yesterday I decided to purchase a memory card for my PDR. My PDR is not recongnizing the card.
I'm pretty certain I have the right card (ScanDisk) it is a Class 10 rating microSDHC UHS-I with Adapter 32GB.
Is it the PDR device or the memory card, I'm almost sure these cards are formatted from the manufactures.

If you don't have a PC to check it out to see if the card works return it and get another one. Sometimes new ones don't work.

If you can, format the card to FAT. It may have been factory formatted differently.

Not just FAT32, but also with a Master Boot Record partition map. I'm starting to notice more and more new SD cards formatted with the GUID partition map, which is technically better and more modern and designed to work with most of the newer PCs with modern, updated UEFI BIOS. So they're formatted with GUID partition map, but in FAT32 format, which would work in virtually any PC and electronic devices made in the last 5 years.

But won't work on the PDR because it requires the Master Boot Record (or MBR) partition map designed for legacy BIOS dating back to the early 2000s (UEFI was nearly universally implemented in 2004 If I recall).

So you can format and reformat all day long, and it will NEVER work in the PDR unless you can change the partition map.

That is because the default formatting is usually FAT (file allocation table) 32. So, the card you purchased was formatted.
