I have a 16 corvette stingray with 60k miles. I began having a stuttering feeling that eventually became severe noise and vibration. The torque tube was replaced and totally eliminated the severe noise and vibrations. I assumed stuttering feeling was maybe plugs and wires so I had all those replaced but stutter is still there. A couple folks have said the transmission fluid needs a flush and fill. Being a new vette owner with no mechanical background I am unsure if that would work. The stuttering only happens when I maintain a speed. During acceleration it is not there and while watching the dash indicator I see that it is always when I am in the I4 mode and not in the V8 mode. Any insight if this sounds like a transmission fluid flush and fill would resolve. Thank you.
What is meant by triple flush, have it flushed 3 times? Are the 3 times done consecutively or separate times? I've been quoted about $300 for a flush and fill, will a triple flush cost 3 times that? What is the typical amount of time to conduct a flush and a triple flush? I ask these questions to ensure that the dealership is being fair with me regarding costs. Thanks for replies.
I'm a Veteran car guy and retired Technical Engineer, new to C7 Z06 s . Like you reading watching U tube videos to gain knowledge about the Cars. I had all the fluids flushed and refilled on my 17 Z06 a few weeks ago, ( I purchased the car late February, 10k on the odometer.) This is from 50 years of playing with cars and information I gained over the last 7 months of ownership. With higher mileage vehicles and not knowing if the fluid service had been done , flush and refill is a very good idea. As far as cylinder deactivation that dosn't belong on a Performance vehicle, if you are concerned with economy cool, that's why manual has 7 gears, an the Auto has 8 , with the rear gear ratio of 2.41 on the A8s (not sure on the ratio manuals) MPG in the mid 20s can be achieved. Cylinder deactivation does not add enough mpg , and is not a good trade off to the damage it can and does cause.(from what I have been told ,read and watch u tube) I drive in manual mode, and have an ARANGE TECHNOLOGY cylinder deactivation delete , I plug in to the ODB II port if I'm going on the freeway . The post above TSB affirms lite throttle between40 and 80 mph the shudder , most likely when cylinder deactivation is engaged . Sorry if long winded , I just wanted to pass along to you and readers some information an knowledge that may help inform and prevent damage to our vehicles. Happy Corvette Motoring
I got the triple flush and fill of the transmission done today and it completely resolved the stuttering issue I was having. Thank you to all that replied to my post and gave me great information. It has been costly but I am learning more and more about corvettes every day. Have a great evening everyone and safe driving.

Glad to hear your issue is resolved.
I had the stuttering issue and the triple flush worked. I also got the Range unit to help eliminate the issue moving forward.
Question for the experts here, would the GM extended warranty cover a triple flush procedure? I'm starting to get a bit of stuttering and wasn't quite sure what was causing it but based on reading this thread, I might have that issue. Just about to leave for the road trip to the Carlisle event next week too.
