Rear axle Service?

Rear axle Service?
Own a 2017 A8 GS...26k miles....driving to work this morning...as I went to park the "service rear axle" flashed on the screen. No check engine light?
Anyone know if this is major issue or most likely maintenance? Please bear with me if this is a dumb question...my first Vette and not very mechanically inclined.

it happens for some.
appears to be most related to battery connections usually.

id start at battery area and ensure bolts and nuts tight as well as the small black wire they talk about.
also no question is dumb.
