Just to check out the numbers of my recently purchased GS I put it on a Dynojet chassis dyno for three pulls today. Of course it got stronger with each pull as the computer 'learns' even though the engine was getting hotter. I ended up with 427.5 HP/ 432.2 torque STD smoothing (not SAE) on less than 10K mile car and 93 octane. I suppose it isn't too bad for absolutely stock GS.
Good Numbers. highest ive seen on a bone stock LT1.
Same. My M7 baselined at 406. Tuner said not maky show over 400 rwhp on his dyno. Auto's about 10 less HP. If you are showing 426 bone stock, either you have one heckuva stock LT1 or there is that much variation in dyno and conditions the pull was made under. Maybe both? Either way, congrats, those are solid number!!!

These guys are pretty sharp. I imagine the numbers are correct. STD atmosphere is 29.92 hg , 59 degrees and sea level. I believe SAE corrects to a higher temperature. The two brothers that opened the shop years ago race and build their own vehicles. I imagine it is calculated for correct field elevation. Otherwise, GIGO. The one that does the dyno owns a nice high hp Z06.
SAE would have been around 410(~4% lower) which is close to what my C6GS with headers did untuned (420 SAE) So my estimation of 470hp at the crank seems pretty accurate given the C7GS 460hp rating, thanks for sharing!
