Boots:

Boot Installation Tool:

If you find you have too much play in the rod ends just replace the ends not the complete set.

Replacement Rod Ends (need two of each):
Right Hand Thread: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/AAF-ALL58080
Left-Hand Thread: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/AAF-ALL58085

The boots, boot tool and rod ends will come to about $130.

When removing the Granatelli Links make sure you don't turn the adjusters. Once they are off the car measure the length between rod ends and once you install new rod ends adjust them to the same length. This will get you close enough so you can drive the car a short distance to get the toe set at an alignment shop if you can't do it yourself.

Bill:

Thanks, ordered, either to be installed sooner (if I have play) or later ... I've never seen those boots, that's interesting.

Coming from the offroad racing scene I have a lot of experience with Rod ends and spherical bearings.

In my opinion FK makes some of the best rod ends. They are also made in the USA if that matters to you.

They have a large selection so I would suggest reaching out to them for recommendations on which series to run.

You can let them know you need a 5/8" shank and 5/8" bolt hole if the summit link specs are correct.

How often do you need to replace the rod ends on your off-road vehicles?
