Reverse screen
Yes hi my name is frankie i have a 2014 stingray, and my screen goes up if you have it down when you put your car in reverse. So i know it's getting the signal to activate my reverse camera. But it will not come on! On my screen. Any suggestions on why? My camera will not work? Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure the backup lights come on when you have the car in reverse. Also, check the connection to the rear camera. GM has had some issues with the camera cabling used in their vehicles. If the connection is dirty/corroded the camera signal may not be getting to the screen. If that doesn't improve things then you will have to scan the car for codes using a scanner that can show body codes. Something equivalent to the GM MDI2 service tool the dealer uses.
Besides the camera the video processing control module, the human machine interface processing module and the wiring between all of them are possible causes of the problem. I have a 2016 FSM but there were two changes to the HMI module between those years so the diagnostics may not be directly applicable.
