I have a 2016 z51. Regarding oil change I'm going with mobil 1 5w30 and AC delco filter. My question is, on Amazon there are a number of AC Delco filters listed such as PF64, Replace w/PF64 (which no doubt is the same as PF64?? ) and there are several other AC Delco listings that incorporate PF64 in the model number. I know for z51 it is important that the proper filter be used. The Manual as you know states PF64. Any thoughts on this please. Too many to choose from!
An "Advanced search" across the C7 Forum sections will disclose a lot of threads about the oil filter issue and changes that have taken place. All the best. And, welcome to the Forum.
Understood regarding being careful thus my question. What is the best way to get a pf64 with 22lbs bypass. Is there a specific identifyer i can look for to insure this it meets the requirements? I have had 100 cars in my life time and never expected a possible issue with buying what should be a simple pf64! Thanks all for your help!

Maybe just go to the Chevrolet Dealership to purchase the correct oil filter?
Amazingly enough, so does my local Chevy dealer parts department. And, amazinly enough, they have the newest correct part number fresh and in stock. Price is the same or pennies difference than Walmart.
No worries, no stress thinking is it a genuine GM part or the correct part.
I bet you will find the same at your local Chevy parts counter too.
Delco in cooperation with GM over the years have made small changers to their parts. Like oil filters to fit several different car models then they originally did. It seems every year or so the part number changes and I think it now fits several more car types. I know they do this to save cost and reduce over all inventories but would prefer a change to improve the filter which every time I pick one up it seems lighter and cheaper. Just my opinion.
