I have a 2016 Stingray Z51 manual with about 20k miles on it. Every time I depress the clutch, I hear a brief knocking sound coming from beneath the gear shift. And my hand can actually FEEL the knocking through the gear shift.
In this 7-second audio recording, I depress the clutch 3 times, and you'll hear the noise each time. The microphone is pointing right at the shifter.
Can we agree this isn't normal? Any thoughts what it might be? Any input is appreciated!
