problems after battery change
just replaced battery in 2014 convertible. tripped a circuit breaker couple times when tightening bolts. Now get message the fob is not recognized even though car starts. conv top will not retract, trunk will not open and cant get power windows to initialize. may be more issues but those are the ones I have found so far. Is there some sort of reset which must be done or have I just blown up a bunch of stuff? Dont know who engineered the battery location on these things but he needs to be forced to change a bunch of them until he learns the error of his ways. Help!

Sounds like you popped a fuse or two clutzing around in there. Start looking for blown fuses! Since the car started, you didn't blow the 350A fuse!
