I totalled my 2016 C7 Z51, 2:30 am California Silicon Valley, fresh heavy rain, and I down shift to accelerate onto the freeway and spin a sideways 1080 into the center freeway divider. No other cars were involved but I lost my girl and her performance mods, ARheads, borla cat back, afe cold air, Air Force intake.
the ins company was very cool about the situation and my shop spoke with my claims rep and they valued the Z51 right below 60K. At this point she had about 20K miles. Before I decided on headers I had purchased a Borla X Pipe 60548, and it’s still sitting in the original box. I just purchased an all black 2017 C7 Stingray with 13K miles, and AWE track edition exhaust with valve stems.
Can I have the borla x pipe installed with the awe exhaust, or is borla only making their x pipes for their own heads and exhaust. Thanks guys
The 60548 X pipe has stock connections facing the rear of the car. So as long as the AWE exhaust has stock compatible connection facing forward, it will work just fine. The 60548 X pipe will change the tone of the exhaust due to the x pipe design and placement. I assume that is the reason you bought it. Otherwise there is no gain over the factory X pipe.
