Hello, I recently installed a 20-21 setup on my Grand Sport and lowered on stock bolts. The rear dropped about an inch but the front didn't lower at all. Any suggestions on why the front didn't lower. Thanks
okay I guess we have two threads on this, so same questions here --
how are you measuring the ride height?
what was your before and after tire size up front?
before 285-30-19
Now 275 30-20
I'm measuring from the ground up to the fender flare in the front. It was 27.5 before I lowered it, and it still measures 27.5 after
your old tire was 25.7" tall
your new tire is 26.5" tall
this will lift the front end a bit. you'll need to put quite a few turns on the adjustment bolt to compensate, then even more to actually lower it. sounds like you only put enough turns in to compensate for the taller tire.

Reason: fixing new tire size rounding error.

I turn the bolt as far as it would go. There's about 2" of bolt sticking out the top of the leaf spring. It won't go any further
IT sounds like your new tire height has negated any further lowering range from the adjustment bolt. I'm pretty sure the OEM tire size is 19/20 and you over-rode the range of the adjusting bolt by putting on a 20" in the front. I've got nothing for you except go back to the 19" in the front to get it lower or get rid of the leaf springs and get adjustable springs on all 4 corners so you can set the height.
you got the wrong tire size. you need 285/25-20 up front to maintain OEM circumference, not 275/30-20. if you upsized the tire diameter in the rear, you'll need to make a similar adjustment, as you don't want to make a big change to the front/rear ratio over the OEM setup.
