Forgive my ignorance. I am watching a catch can installation video on YouTube, and I see that the person pops on the OEM connector from the driver side vent and runs the hose to the catch can, and then routes the output line out to the intake.
What I don't see anyone do anything with the passenger vent. I've never been accused of being smart, so what am I missing? Why isn't the passenger side vent piped to the catch can?
For reference, I am on a 16 base with the novi 1500 and the installer opened both driver and passenger vents.
I vented the passenger side to atmosphere with a small K&N breather - Works fine Only very slight misting of oil on the engine cover --No big deal
PS was amazed how much oil gathered into my catch can--It was almost FULL after 1 oil change--------
