NPP question

I picked up a ‘14 Z51 with 18000 miles on it but sadly dosent have the NPP. Guess there’s no option there for more sound short of replacing the exhaust ? Thanks

Now that i re-read this it sounds like a stupid question but what I meant was , no way of manipulating whats on there ?

No. The NPP mufflers have valves on the outside exhausts that basically bypass the muffler. The non-NPP mufflers are just a Y from the muffler. Here's another thread about the issue: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-maybe-3.html

Buy a used set of NPP mufflers. Be sure to get a set that matches your current re; the valves before the mufflers so you don't have a problem. Once NPP miufflers are on you can leave the NPP valves alone because they go to full open w/o the electrical connected. So you will always have an exhaust that sounds like an NPP car w/ the valves open. I have my valves held at about 50% by a wedge made from aluminum flat piece which keeps my neighbors happy..
