Default New FOB Programming

Hello, I have a 2014 stingray. I brought it in two have a new fob programmed since I lost original. Older tech in a country dealership said he could not communicate with the ECM.under the right fender. Can any one shed some light
on what might be wrong why he could not program. The car is on a trailer in Park and I can't get it into Neutral to get it off. Thank you

Do you have a key? You need a key to do the programmomg of the FOBs. You can get a key from the dealer with a VIN of the car and proof of ownership.

ONce you have the key the will open the rear trunk/hatch, then follow the long program in these instructions.

Yup...

To program the FOBs you must have a functioning key to turn the lock above the license plate.

Thank you to all. I think I get the message.I will have to go to the dealer with the proof of ownership and order a new Key. The original key is with the lost FOB.

Get a key for each fob. The key is the easiest way into the car with a dead battery.
