AC Issues need guidance

I have a 2017 Z51 2 LT and have started having AC issues. When I get on the engine the AC cuts off, no air and the blower stops. It can take almost up to 30 mins and it will come back. Air is cold. Any ideas on what this could be?

can you elaborate on your procedure here, specifically "getting on the engine" ?

I mean I step on the gas and accelerate quickly and then let back off to normal..........nothing extreme.

So what you’re saying is the AC clutch disengages and the blower motor stops when you “give it the beans” and then both are inop for 30 minutes ???…this is what you need for your 2017 AC to work…you would really need to get a scan tool on the car to see what’s going on.
