After reconnecting the negative battery leads, my driver side window stopped working. I checked the no. 1, 30a fuse in the rear fuse box and that’s not the problem. I have been working on the a/c compressor which is why the negative was disconnect but can’t think they are related. Opinions??
Other than the window switch and the 30 amp fuse, are there any other parts in the driver side control circuit for the window? Is there a window motor fuse that I’m overlooking? I don’t know how to check the switch once it’s removed from the door panel, but the 30 amp fuse is in working order.
I just fixed this problem too a month ago. I ended up replacing the power window motor, dealership wanted me to pay $800 just for the part and said no. Luckily I found someone else and able to buy the parts and install it for $500. Hope this helps

Did your window go down when you opened the door? Mines does and this is making me think the motor is fine?
