The tuners are telling me you can do it through the ECM. That should change the sensitivity although if you go too far, you might end up spinning the wheels which is pretty impressive but doesn't do much for getting power to the ground, which is the main thing.

Yep, if you're cracking into the ECU you might as well just map the throttle there to a satisfactory level.
