Last February I went thru all this at the Dealer. New blower motor, bend door etc. Now my blower motor is very intermittent again. It usually acts up after sitting for a few days. Im thinking the control module. Can this module be reset with a battery un plug? Could this also be due to a weak battery? Car runs fine. Battery was replaced in Dec. 2020. BTW.. The light on the top vent button has always been out. My Corvette is still under warranty. Just a hassle going with out it. Thank you.

This is not a battery issue…instead of the dealership just shotgunning parts (which they normally do) they should have checked the wiring at the control module…just 3 wires…power, ground, and a pulse width modulated (PWM) circuit that controls the speed of the blower motor…the PWM wire can be checked with a DVOM and the ground can be checked with a 12 volt incandescent test light…I would lean towards a bad ground (G201).
Have to do this once a year on mine , I am to lazy to replace the pigtail
GM sells a new pigtail and has a TSB out that describes the symptom and the fix
it's easy ... read the post above , unplug it , spray real good with electrical contact cleaner , plug it back in and you should be good for a while
I had to unplug mine and plug it back in a few times. I am going to jinx myself but the last time i used the cleaner , it's now going 2 years with no more issues ( and I drive my car a lot )

C5 there is a TSB out to replace the pigtail , this is a known issue
GM even has a part number just for a pigtail lol

Recognizing this thread is 2.5 years old now, I am having the same issue. Does anyone know the Service Bulletin number or date and the part number for the suggested pigtail? @CorvetteMike2024 what was your final solution?
I've a 17 Grand Sport A8 and this same issue happened to me and Chevy dealership, and apparently GM are stumped. Blower motor works (replaced twice), HVAC Module replaced twice (first by Tech, then GM Tech said replace again in case first was faulty). Still no success. I tried electrical grease on the plug, but no success. Fuses and Ground wires check out OK per Chevy Tech. My car has been there for 45 days now. They are thinking a "deeper" electrical concern! Argh!
Thanks in advance for the support.
Your "deeper issue" may just be a bad connection...tell your Chevy Tech to do a terminal tension or "pin drag" test on the connector if he even knows what that is.

Thanks @C5 Diag ! I apologize for my ignorance just want to provide good direction to them. Which connector are you suggesting be tested?
I’ve pointed them to this thread as well.

Well you should not be providing THEM with direction !!...they are the "experts" !!...just tell them to do a terminal tension test...if they've never heard of that they should be selling hot dogs instead of fixing cars...unfortunately 99.99% of dealership techs are just parts changers...take your car to an auto electric shop instead !!
It was the connector between the blower motor and the HVAC control module. The hypothesis was that when my first blower motor was failed the wires heated and melted the plastic between two of the wires, allowing them to touch and cause the problem.
Pigtailed in a new connection. Apologies for not having a better picture!
Thanks, everyone for your knowledge share.
When our A/C appeared to fail, turned out it was the electrical connector to the blower fan. Easy (but not real cheap) fix.
can you provide a link or recommendation for where you got you new connector? I am also having this issue with the melted connector and cannot seem to find a replacement plug..

Bought mine from the dealer ... just tell them you want the heater motor pigtail
