I have read people running 18" on the rear and having it get sketchy at a certain speed. Some people in the forums I read contribute that to offset. I found some rear rims 18X10.5 ET60. I have read guys running this size rim and it fitting. Should I look for something with more offset? What tire size to do you recommend to match with this?
are you going to be going that certain speed and/or is the sketchy something you can handle?
I'm getting the impression you're asking if a wider offset increases stability, and generally speaking the answer is yes, but the few millimeters in either direction on your chassis isn't going to make a difference that you'll feel, especially compared to simply getting a proper alignment.
Are you setting up for drag? If not, why would you being considering 18" rears? In any event, unless you have more than stock power, you are not going to affect stability with any practical amount of offset mod, as noted above. All the best.
