HMI upgrade now PDR is missing

HMI upgrade now PDR is missing
Hi - Sent my 2016 HMI out for upgrading, put it back in and now no PDR icon on screen. I installed the HMI while the battery was out for a new replacement.
Upgrades include 2023 map update, added Android Auto and unlocked additional features all work fine but no PDR icon on screen..like there's no PDR at all.
Anyone know what may be happening here? I have a message in to the vendor but they can be a bit slow to answer. Maybe it's something else?

I had the same problem with a reprogrammed HMI. The bad news I have for you is that the person that did the reprogramming did not know what they are doing and you wasted your $...

you need a properly programmed HMI and properly programmed Radio module. He fixed mine and gave me a trade in on my HMI.

In case this happens to anyone else, here's a brief summary of the explanation...
GM glitch. When VIN look up was performed it came back with different info than the actual build info. Apparently this happens.
It is completely being taking care of by the vendor. Im not too worried, just a minor inconvenience. Just my luck I guess.

Vendor completely took care of me on this and I am 100% satisfied. Everything I wanted is on there and 100% works, this for about the price of the dealer just adding Android Auto. The only caveat is you need to take the HMI out and send it in for programming. First time taking it out was a PITA but now I can do it in minutes.
Im sure the info below has been cover on the forum but heres some quick takes from my recent experience.....
There are options to just buy a programmed HMI straight up and swap it out but that's an pretty expensive way to go. Just know your car will not run without the HMI installed and there is significant down time for programming and shipping your own unit.
Not all 2016 HMI's can be programmed by the dealer as there is a VIN number range and if your not in it dealers wont touch it. Mine was not in that range. More info here... https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...13980-9999.pdf
Besides adding AA and 2023 NAV updated maps, additional features allow to program factory NAV and watch 480P? video in multiple formats via USB ports while driving - not that I would ever do such a thing/
