When that swap was done on a C6, there was little or no change in the 1/4 mile times. One serious racer even swapped back to a 2.56 gear and went a bit (.01 IIRC) quicker with no other changes.

In addition to checking the mechanical fitting between the two also check what you might need to do to the electronics. How will changing the diff ratio affect speedo readings, stability control function, etc, etc.

I had checked with my tuner. He is going to correct all that and have to tune transmission again.
