i am hoping to do the run to the National Convention in August.
will be a 5,ooo+ mile trip for me
i have a 2014 Stingray / M7 that will have 55,ooo miles on it by then.
i bought it used with 34,ooo miles on it,
the only thing has has happened so far with me are oil changes
i do not know, but suspect nothing was changed prior to my purchase
Asking the Genius Forum members

The coolant needs changing every 5 years/150K miles whichever comes first. If you have an early 2014 (delivered Sept 2013) it is overdue for a coolant change. The OM for 2014 doesn't show changing brake fluid until 150K miles, however, the clutch fluid should be changed every 45K miles. The 2015 and newer OMs say to change the brake AND clutch fluid every 45K miles. There were no changes to the brake system between those years other than the calipers used on the wide-body cars so I recommend changing the brake fluid if it hasn't been changed before. I would bet that over 90% of the cars on the road in the US haven't had their brake fluid changed once.
At 9 years old, I’d change everything before a road trip like that. I’m assuming this is a street car, so there no reason to get exotic with the fluids, just follow factory specs and all will be fine
brake fluid
coolant
oil
differential
transmisson
if it hasn’t been done, drop a new cabin air filter in at the same time.
I would ad to the growing list a new serpentine belt if yours is old. emergency road kit consisting of fix a flat, tire plug kit ,small cigarette lighter air compressor just to get you off the highway in an emergency. flashlight, qt of oil, rags, gloves, tie wraps ,small assortment of tools all in a plastic container.
I buy a used car and I am getting a PDI done to see any mechanical issues before money changes hands. After I determine I am keeping it, I go off a simple saying I have. "It flows, it goes".
