Default Check engine
I replaced Original battery in my 2017 Z51 Stingray. Now the check engine light is on. What to do to clear that?

You can try disconnecting the battery again…if not I’d put a scan tool on it and see what DTC may be stored !!

Check the thin black wire is attached to negative terminal and not damaged.

Try both of the above if needed. If code still remains, get the car looked at by a qualified Corvette tech.

Why not start with the obvious and connect a scanner to read the code(s)? Any auto parts place can do that if you don't know anyone with a scanner.
