Help, how do I adjust automatic shift linkage
Messed up the shift cable installing a borla exhaust. How do I adjust the cable at the transmission to find park. The car is in park now. Is park on the transmission all the way forward or back. I could not find anything on the forum.

On my 2007 C6 A6, the tranny housing shift lever arm should be rotated clockwise to the most rearward position for Park. Should be the same for the C7 A8.

Ditto. Have done this before on a friends car. Put the shift lever in Park and the Trans selector to the rear then adjust the cable length until it snaps on the ball without moving the selector lever.
