The subframe is being dropped to access the AC compressor and to remove the lines. If you are literally just removing the valve, you should be able to get to it without even removing the supercharger. The unknown is if there's enough play in the lines.

Thanks for your feedback. I really don't want to drop engine and subframe. It looks like if the supercharger is removed i may be able to reach with my skinny hands back there haha.
