Just bought a 2018 GS and only thing i've noticed wrong is the Fuel Range indicating the wrong range. Was initially with a full tank on delivery at dealer reading 179 miles. After running around town for a while, i put 6 gallons in it with the result that the fuel range now reads 280. Neither the 179 figure or the 280 Fuel Range number changes more than a few miles after driving 50 miles both before and after the fill-up. The fuel gage appears to work okay as to the A/B trip odometer's avg mpg. Finally, when the driver display indicates Fuel Range, i can scroll right and then a 'reset' button is displayed. Selecting it does nothing other than return the display to Fuel Range. Not even sure why there would be a 'reset' button for Fuel Range to start with. Any thoughts on what in the software is driving this Fuel Range calculation. And I'm not positive that fthe fuel gage is working properly aside from it reading full and then trending down over time. But i'm not sure the gage is accurately indicating what's in the tank. Just haven't driven it far enough to tell. And of course not sure why when gage is reading full after a fill up the Fuel Range is so wrong. Any help appreciated.
Two tanks? Owned a C6 for 15 years and now I learn that the cars have two tanks. That's embarrassing. I will dig further into this issue and monitor how well the fuel gage itself performs. Thanks for the education.

I have noticed if I put several gallons of gas in the car while it is in my garage, the gauge does not move much. Once I drive the car the gauge eventually shows more.

That's because all fuel gauges are dampened. It turns out people don't like seeing a real time gauge.
I think it's working fine. The fuel range is a calculation. The calculation is based on previous driving history of fuel consumption, say the past 50-100 miles. When you bought the car it had only been lot driven, at low speeds, for some time. This produced very poor gas mileage for the calculation to be based on. As you drove it more the calculation is adding in your more normal gas mileage and is coming up.
Math:
The tank has 18.5 gallons. If the dealer only got 10 mpg while puttering around on the lot the range would be 185 miles (10 mpg x 18.5 gallons)
If you drove it home and added some city miles we typically get about 15 mpg city. So with a full tank range moves up to 278 miles (15 mpg x 18.5)
