I finally had a chance to check mine. The car is on the ground so the suspension is loaded. I just laid on ground behind the car, reached up and grabbed the axle, and gave it some pushes and pulls. Very very little movement. I'm guessing your car is in the air, so you may want to see what it's like with it on the ground at normal ride height.
Thank you for checking my friend.
I've checked it in the air and on the ground and it has the same play.
Do make sure to grasp the wheel at 12 & 6 with the car in the air and check the hub for play as well. Should be zero.
Does it sound the same on the passenger side? If "no" then I think the next step is to pull the axle.
Thanks for the response. Yes, I checked the bearing like that on both sides and there is no play. The odd thing is, when I switch lanes or go around a high speed turn, the sound goes away or changes. Thats why I was thinking it was a bearing.

That is a common symptom of a bearing failing.
Super rare for these cars to have differential issues. Over the years I can think of reading about just a few on here with street cars that had issues. Early on, the drag race types were breaking things quite a bit but that's not surprising.
I think I'd pull the axle to check it. While it's still out, and assuming it checks good, see if you can move the stub axle in the differential. If "yes"....then things get more serious unfortunately.
