OP if you are feeling a little "shudder" its the transition to V4 mode and back to V8 .... The A6 was not affected by the same "shudder" the A8 had , believe me you would know , it feels like u are on rumble strips .... , cheapest way to stop AFM , buy a range, mid price option, get a Diablo, semi expensive, have it tuned out with HP Tuners by a tuner. Expensive , swap out cam for a non DOD cam
I have the 2014 A6. I purchased it with about 35,000 miles. I ended up changing all the fluids on the car, not really that hard to do. I wanted to be sure someone didn't put some kind of crazy snake oil in the car. You never now. Do some research and update your car with the correct GM recommended fluids. The rear end is easy, some of the cars don't have enough oil in the rear end from the factory.
How about a positive experience regarding the triple flush ?
Triple flush done last week. I noticed a difference even when I was coming out of the dealer lot. My wife drove the car and she commented on how much smoother the transmission is shifting.
Some answers: I went to a local dealer because this one has three Corvette mechanics on staff. (Mohawk Chevrolet, Ballston Spa, NY)
Cost was about $1,100. I had them do an oil change while it was up on the lift. Doing the Corvette Caravan next month so I figured the oil will be close to needing a change when we get back.

So I have to ask: Why do people state you have to swap out the cam for a DOD delete? If you do the other parts, replace the DOD lifters with standard, block the oil ports and do the tune, the engine is the same as it was in V8 mode previously. Now I see if you want a bigger cam, but if not I don't why the requirement to replace it.

The cam profile for Dod lifters is different than a non DOD profile
You cant just replace the lifters
