Default P3 Question

Will a C7 Stingray with added 7 psi boost supercharger read boost on a P3 from the ECM with the standard map sensor or does it require an added external boost sensor?
Thanks, installing a P3 and want to wire anything extra at the same time.

It sure should. My 19 Z06 does. I did have to add their gadget to read ethanol % though.

You had to add an additional sensor for the E85 when you already had an E85 kit on the car?

When I bought my P3 3 or 4 years ago, yes that was the case. I had to buy their circuit that converts the frequency that comes off of the fuel composition sensor to a voltage.

I just looked at the P3 web site and it looks like the gauge may now read the ethanol % off of the OBD port but I'd verify that.

In any case, I really like the gauge and it worked flawlessly since I installed it.

LT1 only has a 1 bar map sensor so will not read positive manifold pressure. OP will need to upgrade to a 3 bar map sensor and get a baro breakout harness so the ecu doesn't read boost as elevated atmospheric air pressure.
