Default Jacking Pucks

I have a 2015 Z51 that I need to add jacking pucks to. I plan to add side skirts down the road so I believe I need taller jacking pucks than just a 1/2 inch puck. I am wondering what is recommended? Also, have you used the twist in type or the bolt in type? Do the twist in type stay in or do you take them out for normal daily operation?? Thanks for any help you can give.

I have the twist-in rubber type from Amazon (~$15) but they will fall out if you forget to remove them before you drive - don't ask me how I know LOL.

These first ones are great, screw them in and forget them..... They might not be high enough. You might be able to put a spacer.

On my last two C5s and now my C7 I have used a set of BMW snap in jacking pucks. Never had a problem using them and I too have added side skirts to my car. There are plenty of options for jacking pucks - just have to decide which one is best for you.

Hockey pucks are 1" thick and work well with my side skirts. Not hanging down when not in use either.

If you are asking me that question, I bought mine from a local BMW dealer. The height of the puck is approximately 1/2” and through use on 2 C5s and now my C7, I have never had a problem with using a floor jack and having any interference with rocker panels or side skirts.

I actually use both. I twist in the jacking pucks and then place a hockey puck on my jack. This clears my side skirts.

I have the aluminum pucks that stay installed permanently. I also have a set of EOS side skirts. Pucks work fine with my jack stands and with my QuickJack

Got them on Amazon ....

I also have the 1/2" high plastic snap-in pucks on my Z06. I've had no issues with them. You just have to get your head down low enough to see them behind the side skirts.

I have the same ones. 2017 GS, I drive the front tires on 2x6's to make it easier but it's possible without them. I'm lowered all the way on stock bolts.

Got these Steelman pucks. They are approximately 1-1/4 inch tall. They are a little pricey. Around $90 shipped.

I have these on my car with a full length side skirt and I’ve had no issues with a low pro jack

I use the pucks from RPI.

Works well.

I don't leave them in.

Kinda pricy.
