I’ve got a 2016 Stingray. Racing Yellow paint code GC6 WA386A. It’s the correct color in the bottle. On the brush etc. when it drys it looks more orange yellow than the bright yellow it should be. Any idea why.

it has been my experience that of all the touch up velocity yellows I have tried, including the GM stuff, none of it matches. I even had an auto paint supply store mix a spray can of 2 part paint and it wasnt close.

Some colors look way different once the clear coat is applied. I have no experience with yellow though.

You would think that a GM touchup color would match, but some colors are just hard to get perfect.
