I just purchased a set of carbon flash hash marks - is there and temperature limits as to making them stick better? Should I clay bar the fender prior to installing the decal? These are going on a Blade Silver car along with clear marker lights. I will post pictures when it's all complete.

Man, just buy a heat gun or use a hairdryer to heat up the paint and vinyl hash marks. If using a heat gun, be careful not to damage the paint.

Just use a hair dryer to warm up the fender. Hopefully there were prep pads included with the stripes to clean the area before applying the stripes. No need to clay bar but it couldn't hurt. Do not use any wax or spray detailer.

I've installed a number of decals, including the hash marks you are speaking of. Everytime, I follow the below procedure
- wash the vehicle
- clay bar the area
- spray the area with rubbing alcohol and wipe with microfiber
- let dry completely
- ensure the vehicle and decal is at the same temperature (probably should be at least above 60 degrees)
- mix a separate spray bottle with water and a few drops of baby soap
- shake soap solution and spray the area down
- spray the back of the stripe as you peel the adhesive paper away
- apply decal and position and reposition as needed
- squeegee it out (inside to outside)
- let dry and re-squeegee if bubbles are obvious

Good luck

Good directions on how to install the hash marks. And they will look very good on the car.
