How the install went, durability, how they fit, how they look, fit & finish, etc.
Install like any other wheel. Just put them on. Fit as good if not better than the stock wheels. They look fantastic and don't know why they won't be durable. Fully forged = better than OEM.
I've had APEX wheels on another car in the past and they were great. Strong, light, and the finish was durable. The fitment was good. Have thought about them for my vette too. They are priced very well for the durability / quality.
I have 3 sets of sm10 wheels (2 18" and 1 19") for my Grand Sport track car.
They do all the right things and are plenty strong enough. At a great price point.
And they've done all the homework on fitment for you.
I used them on my BMW race car as well.
No complaints.
Here is a set of wheels that look good. BUT they say OEM wheels. Would these OEM wheels be the ones that might crack?
I looked a closer,,,, they want your original wheels off your Corvette.

Yes my car is a 2014 vet with 18" 19" OEM wheels. If I did these wheels I would use the same tires.
The original 2014 wheels are alloy and have never had an issue with them.
I just purchased a new set of wheels. My next question,,,,, do the OEM TPMS switch to the new wheels? I am thinking about getting a set of new ones. If they are from 2014 they probably wont last that much longer.
I checked online about just changing the batteries, but that seemed like a pain in the butt.
"Alloy" wheels can be forged, flow forged, or cast. I believe those OEM wheels are cast but I don't think that will be a problem on a narrow body Stingray. The problem was with the OEM cast wheels on the wide bodies as they are wider and are prone to cracking or bending on the inside lips.
I received the TPMS's. They are aluminum ish metal, so I painted them black to match the wheels and replaced the gray caps with black caps.. I have not decided what to do with the OEM center caps. They are gray with the logo. They might look good as a contrast to the black wheels. I could paint the OEM caps black or purchase the black ones with the Corvette logo.
