I have 14' stingray z51 7 speed and I'm having an odd behavior with the throttle when I first start out. The car starts to pulse the throttle and starts bucking with even pressure on the pedal.
if I let out it will stop but if I go back in to it almost immediately it will do it again. This doesn't happen everytime
I have a Soler throttle controller installed and wondering if this may be causing the issue. Haven't had a chance to test that theory as I haven't been able to get free time with it again. This issue wasn't there prior to the install so I'm wondering if I may have a bad throttle controller unit. I've reached out to Soler and waiting to hear back from them.
Another theory I have is maybe the wider tires I was able to go with and the traction control is engaging because of it.
I was able to stuff z06 width tires on my stingray front - 285/30/19
rear - 335/25/20.
I'm just trying to get some insight on what may be the cause this if anyone else has had similar issues. before I'm able to start doing some troubleshooting
Definitely not normal for Soler TC. I've had two of them in two different cars and never experienced this issue. Always a possibility you got a bad one, but I'm sure Soler will sort that out, if the case. Can't speak to the rest of your setup. Good luck!
