Default Fuel leak

All plans just got put on hold. The wife and I was driving around today and the car started leaking fuel out of nowhere. I took the LH bottom cover off and it’s leaking from the LH side of the tank where the pump is at. I going to pull the inner fender out Sunday and pray it was just a return line or something that came off, if not, I’m preparing for the worst. My plan is to get a 30 day subscription to AllData or Haynes online and drop the cradle myself to get the tank out. There was one guy on YT that said you didn’t have to but he also didn’t show himself doing it. I’m wondering if any of you guys have done this and if there are any tricks to it. Photos would be a massive help. Thanks

I would stop right there and get GM involved. Let them determine it is NOT that issue then you can play with it. If it is and you touch it, you own it.

Hopefully but keep your paws off the car. I knew someone who had all kinds of hell with a warranty after he tried to fix it and decided to bring it in.

The GM warranty has ended on most of the cars, unless you have your own service plan.
