Differential shot - Tips for replacing
14 Z51 Auto. Differential seems to be shot. Audible howling sound inside cabin on acceleration (tip-in) only from rear of car along with a scrubbing/grinding sound from rear passenger area on left hand turns only.
I have the new differential to replace already and am doing the swap myself so I am seeking advice from others who have done this in the past. Any special procedures I need to be aware of? Is bleeding the eLSD going to be necessary? Since I'm doing this in my driveway with jack stands, any tips to make the process easier?
