Default AFM/DOD Disable with HPT

I just used HP Tuners to disable AFM/DOD from a 2019 Grand sport. Prior to the disable the dash would indicate 8cyl and 4cyl. when activated. Now that it's disabled there is NO indication of any deactivation or cylinder. I would assume that because it's disabled there wouldn't be any indicator lights? First one of these I've done. Can anyone confirm this is normal?
Thanks
Jim

Auto? If you want to send me the file, I can look at what you turned off. You can also use VCM Scanner to log a drive and look to see what's being commanded...

I'd expect you just flipped the master enable to "Disable" but I know guys will go in and turn off the hardware DTCs as well, even though all the hardware is still in place.

Thanks for all the replies. I talked to a few guys that are more familiar with doing this and they all said they just disable DOD and set the VSS to 300 MPH so even if the disable failed the 300 mph limit would stop it from activating. There is an HPT video that states the same procedure. I'm new to HP Tuners and have only used it to adjust cooling fan temps and some basic stuff. I'm not interested in any performance tuning, I'm too old to invest the time into a steep learning curve!

I have a question if you don't mind. When I have read other older vehicles I haven't had any issues and when I check my license info log I can see the VIN for each vehicle. So I can access the same vehicle any time going forward. This time while reading the 2019 Grand sport I got a read fail for the TCM. I then decided to read ONLY the ECM as all I wanted to do was disable the DOD/AFM. I made my changes then wrote to the vehicle. Later when I checked the license log the VIN for the vehicle was not listed, only ECM information. My question to HP tuners, which I can't seem to get an answer is will I have to buy more credits to access the CCM (Chassis Control Module) on the same vehicle?
Thanks
Jim

The license log will show the modules and credits you have. For instance, this is mine for my car (2019 Grand Sport).... 4 credits for the PCM and 3 credits for the CCM

If you open up the Editor, click on "Edit" and look at "Calibration Details" you'll see the hardware listed and the VIN info. For instance this one is from a C8 but the C7 is the same way. If you have both the PCM and CCM they will both show under the "Controllers" tab. I'm not sure if it's an MPVI2 vs MPVI3 thing or if it's a Gen V & up sort of deal.

Thanks for the info! I can see the VIN here but it only shows the ECM info. I'm going to hook the car up in a few days and check it out.
