Question for Soler performance
I have one of your throotle controllers on the way. I had a question on your throttle controller. What setting would be 1:1 input/output at all rpm-equivalent to a mechanical throttle cable? Thank you!

Hi there, good question.
It was designed so SP5 feels that way, however you might find it a few levels up or down as it is always a bit subjective. SP5 is a good start.

I have one. What it does is just change the full throttle position. Instead of full throttle being at the floor, you get full throttle at say, 1/2 throttle movement, or even less. Once you get to that position the throttle doesn't do anything.

that said I use SP5 on my Soler contoller and would start with that
If I had an open area I would try both extremes to see if I notice a difference (but I am a nut and don't recommend things I would do)

That's the trade off. They do say that a candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Once you reach max opening, you can't go Super-Max. That also takes out some of the graduation so there's going to make it harder to have more control over the throttle. It does make an impressive show for the kids when you smoke tires and it helps the tire shops so it isn't all bad.
