So last night I get outa work and remote start the car. Was talking to someone. Turned it off remotely. Then started it again remotely. It turned itself off. So I just went in and manually turned it on. Check engine light and bad vibrations / misfires. No acceleration stalls. Long story short. Had to flat bed it to the house. Next morning code reader says
P0050, P0051, and just recently P0004. Along with that. It flashed the notorious service rear axle.
P0050 - Faulty O2 Sensor B2 S1
P0051 - Faulty Heater in O2 Sensor. B2 S1
P0004 - Fuel Volume regulator control Circuit High
( these sounds like they all Go together if 1 Goes bad )
Have had no previous issues other than a new differential installed years ago with no problems.
I know the codes are for Bank 2 sensor 1 O2. So maybe that’s bad throwing the P0004 at me? But the flashing rear axle was just outa nowhere.
been trying to remove said sensor and replace it. Holy hell. I can’t get it off. It’s in the worst spot possible. It broke my new sensor tool In half when using a breaker bar. I don’t have the luxury of running the engine to heat the threads. And putting a torch to it would be rather challenging.
My questions are
has anyone had this issue before and how did you remove this SOB from the pipe without dropping the exhaust for access.
thanks

If you are receiving codes, have your check engine light on, and experiencing vibrations, it is best to take your Corvette to a Chevrolet dealership for a full diagnosis. We want you to be safe out there on the road and the dealer will be in the best position to perform any repairs needed. Should you need assistance connecting with one, feel free to email us at socialmedia@gm.com with more background information into your Corvette. Just be sure to include your forum username in the subject line.
Honestly since the 2 First codes that popped up were the sensor for both faulty and low voltage. I went ahead and assumed it was that one. Hoping the 9004. Code was related to it. Which seems like it was as check engine light and all codes disappeared
