Anyone plan on going to the reveal?

I went to the Detroit show for the unveilings of both C6 ZO6 and the C6 ZR1. They displayed the ZO6 in yellow if my memory serves me correctly. That was in January of 2005. They also debuted the Cyber Grey 2009 ZR1 in January of 2008. Chevrolet lifted the media embargo on both cars before Christmas if my memory serves me right but maybe some of you could chime in on the exact press release dates. I think there might be a chance of the Corvette marketing team dribbling more info out shortly as we get closer to Christmas !! What are your thoughts ??

I'm a middleman in this and my quick answer is that we need to cut it off at 49. There are deadlines to be met and getting the first 49 in time will be a challenge in itself. The number comes from the seating capacity of the motorcoach we are renting. If there are an additional 49 then we can check into a 3rd coach but no promises on that.

Americas Corvette Club has invited us to join them in a special viewing of the unveiling of the C7 Z06 at Cobo Hall on Day 1 of the public portion of the NAIAS (Detroit Auto Show). The C7 Z06 development team will be on hand to detail for us why this Corvette is "the most capable Corvette ever produced". And the new C7.R race Corvette will also be on display. Date of the event is January 18, 2014. We will gain access to the show one hour ahead of the general public.
All attendees will meet at Cauley's automotive on Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield, MI for a warm coach ride to the doors of Cobo (coach departs Cauley's at 7am sharp!), a long sleeved tee shirt commemorating the event, ticket to the auto show (AND early admittance!), a trip to Motor City Casino for lunch and fun (lunch and fun at your own expense), and then a warm coach ride back to your car at Cauley's. Price is $35 per person.
The Catch is that we need 49 participants to honor the package price, and I need to let them know by THIS THURSDAY, December 19. Then I will need you to mail me a check ASAP if we have enough participants to make this a go. I will advise all people who RSVP if we get enough participants and where to mail the check.
Please RSVP asap (BEFORE THURSDAY, Dec 19th!) if you want to join this exciting event!!! The first 49 responders will be accepted!!!!!
Happy holidays,
Karen

I sent it via the link from your ID here.
A reply direct would be to forumsupport@corvetteforum.com
and I didn't think that would work.

Maybe we can get a running list, so that we know how far off we are. My plus one is a definite, just need to know where to send my money.

I'll let you know when I learn the break point to pay for the coach.

I am a member of Northern Virginia Corvette club and already have reservations to come to the show.
I am being joined by 3 friends from the Corvette Club of Northeastern PA.
Last time I attended was at the C5 unveil.

Just made my reservation at the Renaissance Center Marriot for Sunday night the 19th and will be going to the show on the 20th. My Corvette nut coworker and I will be attending.
